What to expectAs a Production Supervisor you will be responsible for a team of 30+in support of the LAN Twisted Pair Cable Manufacturing Team in Claremont, NC.
We are a 24/7 manufacturing operation and operate on a 4x4 schedule with 12-hour shifts.
You will facilitate the safe and productive manufacture of high-quality products, effectively driving standard work, helping the team to embrace Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing and 5S.
You will make an impact by:
Owning the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet or exceed production goals, quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
Partnering with trainers to ensure employees are developed and accountable for their individual and team performance.
Creating a work environment that is challenging and meaningful.
Recognizing and rewarding high performance.
Leading company directed safety programs, compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements, and promotion of a strong safety culture.
Eliminating waste throughout the manufacturing operations through implementation of Lean tools and processes, driving a continuous improvement culture, and promoting employee engagement at all levels of the plant.
Manage employee time and attendance for timely and accurate payroll processing.
Leading, coaching and participating on teams to accomplish individual, department and divisional objectives.
Required Qualifications for Consideration:
An associate degree in engineering, engineering technology, manufacturing operations, or related field Experience with appropriate manufacturing methods, processes, and equipment.
Proven experience in applying Lean tools and practices and driving a strong Lean / Continuous improvement culture.
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and change management skills.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and SAP.
